Fried Green Tomato's |

| Green Tomato's, sliced thin | Salt, to taste |
| 5 Tbs Lard | Yellow Cornmeal |
| Melt lard or rendered hog fat in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle tomato's with salt. Roll in Cornmeal an' give it a generous coat. Fry until golden, turning only once. | |
