Rouladen Rolled Stuffed Steaks |

| Large whole slices of Chip steak, sliced very thin | Salt and Pepper |
| Mustard | Bacon, 1 slice per steak |
| Yellow Onion, sliced | Carrot, cut in half in long thin strips, 1 per steak |
| Gundelsheim Brand Barrel Pickles or Whole Dill Pickles, sliced in half in long thin strips | Crisco |
| Chicken Broth | 1 Bay leaf |
Spread steaks out flat. spread 1 level tsp or less over each steak. Lay a folded slice of bacon and top with two half slices of onion. Lay on carrot and pickles. Roll and secure with toothpicks or thread. Melt 1 Tbl Crisco in skillet and brown steaks add some onion slices to the skillet when meat is almost done and brown lightly. Move meat to sauce pan. Add Chicken Broth and bay leaf, 1 carrot, diced small, 3 medium size pickles, diced. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Remove from pan and keep warm. Add 1 c Au Jus or brown gravy to juices. Use flour to thicken. |
