Franzosische WindBeutel Mit Vanilla Sauce

(Cream Puffs with Vanilla Sauce)

   
1/2 c Milk dash Salt
1/2 c Water 1 c Flour
1 stick Butter 4 Eggs
Hot Oil for frying or deep frying Powdered Sugar
Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix  
   

Heat milk and butter, remove from heat.

Add salt, water and flour. Mix with a wooden spoon to form dough.

Let dough cool then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one.

Drop by teaspoons into hot oil and fry a few seconds until golden brown.

Remove, drain on paper towels, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Eat warm as is or serve with vanilla sauce.

   
Vanilla Sauce
 
Prepare instant pudding according to directions adding 1/2 to 2 times the amount of milk called for to thin it down. Spoon over cream puffs.
