Firehouse Applesauce |

| 8 medium size Apples | 1/2 c Red Hot's |
| Water | 3 Tbl Sugar |
Peel, core and chop apples into large chunks. Put in saucepan and just cover with water. Over a medium heat bring to a simmer in a covered pan. Reduce heat halfway and simmer 20 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and spoon off as much water as you can. Add red hot's and sugar. Stir until dissolved. Let cool 20 minutes, cover and refrigerate. |
