Apple Chutney |
|
| 2 Pippin Apples, chopped | 1/2 medium Onion, chopped |
| 1/2 Lemon, peeled, seeded and chopped | 1/4 c Red Bell Pepper, chopped |
| 2 tbl Ginger, dry or minced | 1 Clove Garlic, pressed |
| 1/3 c Apple Cider | 2/3 c Brown Sugar |
| 1/2 tsp Salt | |
Mix all ingredients in a pan except apple cider, brown sugar and salt. In a sauce pan over high heat combine apple cider and brown sugar until sugar melts. Add apple mixture and salt. Reduce heat and simmer until reduced to 2 cups. Cool. Serve with ham or any curried dish |
