Chicken ala King |

| 2 Tbl Butter or Margarine | 1 c canned Mushrooms, chopped |
| 1 tsp Onion, minced or dry | 1 1/2 tsp Salt |
| 1/2 c Bell Pepper, chopped | 1/4 tsp Pepper |
| 1/2 c Flour | 2 Egg Yolks |
| 3 1/2 c Chicken Broth | 1/4 c Milk |
| 3 c Chicken, cooked and diced | 1/3 c Red Pimento, chopped |
Melt butter in a skillet, add onion and bell pepper and saute until lightly browned. Strain vegetables from skillet leaving drippings. Add flour and still until well blended. Slowly stir in chicken broth and boil slowly until thick and smooth. Add chicken, mushrooms, onion, bell pepper and seasonings to the skillet and cook until heated through. Stir milk and egg together and stir into skillet. Top with pimento, remove from heat and serve hot. |
