Almond Cookies |

| 2 3/4 c. flour | 1/2 tsp. baking soda |
| 1 egg, beaten | 2 tsp. almond extract |
| blanched almond halves | 1/2 tsp. salt |
| 2 T. milk | 1 c. butter flavored Crisco |
| 1 c. sugar | |
Stir together flour, baking soda, sugar and salt. Bake at 325° for 16-18 minutes. |
