2 Crust Pie Dough |
|
| 3 c All Purpose Flour | 1 Egg, slightly beaten |
| 1 1/2 tsp Salt | 6 Tbl cold water |
| 2 Tbl Sugar | 1 Tbl Vinegar |
| 1 1/4 c Shortening | |
Combine flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Cut shortening into flour mixture until crumbly. In a small bowl beat Egg then add water and vinegar. Blend into flour mixture until all of the flour is moist but do not over beat. Let rest for ten minutes before using to guarantee tender flaky crust. |
