Mountain Man Pound Cake |

| 1/2 c Shortening | 1/2 tsp Baking Powder | ![]() |
| 1 c Butter at room temperature | 1 c Milk | |
| 3 c Sugar | 2 tsp Vanilla | |
| 5 Eggs at room temperature | 2 tsp Lemon Extract | |
| 3 c Cake Flour | ||
| Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour a tube pan. Cream together, shortening, butter and sugar. Add Eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Sift the flour and baking powder together. Mix milk and extracts. Add alternately to creamed mixture. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Let cool at least 30 minutes. | ||
