Bakers Icing |
|
| 1 1/2 c Milk | 1 c Sugar |
| 2 Tbl Cornstarch | dash of Salt |
| 1/2 c Shortening | 1 tsp Vanilla |
| 1/2 c Butter | |
| In a saucepan combine Milk and cornstarch. Cook until thick, set aside. In a bowl cream shortening, butter and sugar with an electric mixer for 10 minutes. Add to the milk mixture with salt and vanilla. Continue beating with mixer until it resembles whipped cream. | |
