Barbecue Beef Sandwiches |
|
1 1/2 Lbs. Stew Meat, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes |
1/2 C. White Vinegar |
| 8 Sesame Hamburger Buns | 4 tsp Chili Powder |
| 1 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce | 2 tsp Salt |
| 1 medium Onion, diced | 1/4 tsp Dry Mustard |
| 1 8oz. can Tomato Sauce | 2 Tbs. Oil |
| 1/2 C. Brown Sugar, firmly packed | |
In a Pressure Cooker or Dutch Oven cook Stew meat until it is fall apart Tender. ( If using Pressure Cooker add 1 cup of water and cook for twenty minutes once pot begins to steam. ) Drain and set aside to cool, reserve liquid. In a sauce pot saute Onion in oil until clear. Add remaining ingredients except Hamburger Buns, heat to boiling and simmer 10 - 15 minutes. Shred Stew Meat with fork or fingers and add to Sauce. Simmer 20 minutes more adding reserved Beef Broth if needed. Serve over Hamburger Buns. *Note, For a change serve open face with shredded Cheddar Cheese |
