Old Woman's Pork Chop Dinner |

| 4 Pork Chops, 1/2 inch thick | 1 c Onion, chopped |
| 2 Tbl Cooking Oil | 1 c Celery, chopped |
| 1 Chicken Bouillon Cube dissolved in 1 c boiling water | 1 tsp Salt |
| 1/8 tsp Pepper | 1 c Water |
| 4 small Potato's, peeled and halved lengthwise | 4 Carrots, sliced thick |
| 2 Tbl Flour stirred into 1/2 c Cold Water | |
Heat oil in heavy skillet, brown chops for 15 minutes on both sides. Drain off fat. Pour Bouillon mixture over chops. Top with vegetables, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer over low heat until vegetables are tender. Remove meat and vegetables from pan, keep hot. Bring pan juices to a rolling boil and stir flour mixture into pan, stirring quickly until thick. Serve gravy on the side with meat and vegetables. |
